A new item is coming from Creekside Quilts Design
Shopping Bags!!!!
Did you know that supermarkets are thinking about charging you for bags? Well, they are and it's coming soon, in fact, I've heard that some stores already charge for paper.
I'm am in the development stage of creating a Quilted Shopping Bag. One side will have a Quilt Block on it, while the other side is a seasonal fabric. It features pockets inside and one small divided pocket on the outside for your cell phone and your car keys.
If you were to purchase a Quilted Shopping Bag would it be important for you to have the bag waterproof? Or would it be just fine without waterproofing. You can answer in the guestbook.
The waterproofing is in the form of iron on vinyl that is adhered to the fabric before it is sewn together.
The one I made for myself is Halloween! (Leftover from the quilts)

I've got TWO Halloween quilts coming.
Both of the tops are done, the backs are prepared, the binding is made. Well.....WHAT'S HOLDING UP THE SHOW?????
The bobbin casing for my HQ 16 quilting machine went kah-put!
I ordered a new one and it's on the way but it might be a week before I get it so until then the tops will just have to wait.
This is the paper rendition of Halloween Quilt #1
I scan the fabrics I'm going to use into my computer then design the quilt and this is what it looks like on paper.

This is Halloween Quilt #2, Paper Rendition

This is the border fabric. This is the backing fabric.
